Barbie Fairytopia: Mermaidia is the 2nd movie in the Barbie Fairytopia Series after Barbie Fairytopia. It was on March 14, 2006 and was followed by Barbie Fairytopia: Magic of the Rainbow.
Follow the underwater journey of Elina in the result to Fairytopia. In this sequel to Fairytopia, Elina travels to Mermaidia to protect her friend Nalu, The Merman Prince. Prince Nalu has been kidnapped in an attempt to learn the whereabouts the special berry that will make Laverna the most powerful fairy in Fairytopia. Even more powerful than Enchantress. It's up to Elina to stop them but she can't do it alone. She will need the help of Nori, a headstrong mermaid who does not trust outsider and wants nothing to do Elina. Winning Nori over isn't easy but Elina will have more challenges yet to come. Saving Nalu could require the greatest sacrifice of her life of her wings.
